Eric Hammel is an award-winning military historian, and author of eighteen published books. This book is filled with first person accounts from 39 American fighter aces who 
describe the air combat experiences  during World War II.  

This book byeeric Hammel was published by Presidio Press in 1992.  The condition is  new and never read.  Has been stored since purchased at an aviation book signing dinner in 1992 in Tustin California. .  It is a hardcopy book and  signed by the following eight (8) aces.
