This Robert Taylor Print depicts the Heavy Cruiser Prinz Eugen shelling Russian positions in Western Samland, January, 1945. This pristine limited edition print 93/1000 is signed by the artist Robert Taylor and two Officers who served on the Prinz Eugen, Gunther Hielscher and Hans Hennig Von Schulz .

Gunther Hielscher served in the Kriegsmarine since before World War Two, he was on the destroyer Z-8 from January 1938 to March 1940, later becoming Chief Engineering Officer on Prinz Eugen from November 1943 to May 1945.

Kapitanleuteutnant (Lt Commander) Hans Hennig von Schulz former Intelligence Officer aboard Prinz Eugen - took part in various operations including the Channel breakthrough. He died on 6th December 2017 aged 106.
