Lancaster VR-A returns to RAF Colerne from her first operation over enemy territory on the morning of 6 June 1944. The bomber had just made a low-level strike, bombing the heavy coastal gun emplacements at Arromanches in Northern France, in support of the D-day invasion. .

This is a limited edition print by Robert Taylor titled Early Morning Arrival signed by Robert Taylor, and by three famous holders of the Victoria Cross as well as Andrew Mynarski's six fellow crew members. Flight Lieutenant Bill Reid VC, Wing Commander Rod ‘Babe’ Learoyd VC, Warrant Officer Norman Jackson VC, Flying Officer Arthur De Breyne, Warrant Officer James Kelly, Flying Officer Pat Brophy, , Sergeant Jack Friday, Flying Officer Robert Bodie, and Sergeant Roy Vigars. This fabulous print is in pristine condition and is as photographed.
